For each special expense and receipt you can choose what, if anything, happens if either spouse/partner dies before the other. For example, a student loan payment might be eliminated, or perhaps an inheritance wouldn't be received, or would be reduced.

To eliminate an expense or receipt in the case one spouse dies before the other, simply choose 'Change To...' and then remove all expense/receipt activity in that area.

To enter an expense or receipt that only occurs if the spouse/partner dies, create a new expense or receipt and then only enter expense/receipt activity under the contingency settings area.
